He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our hardworking Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside our other Contracts Administrator and supporting the various DHB accounts around the country. This role would be responsible for monthly invoicing, reporting against DHB contracts and identifying/escalating key issues related to invoicing for the various DHBs. This role is crucial in maintaining efficiency and accuracy of invoicing and debt collection across one of our biggest accounts reporting into the Group Financial Controller. This exciting opportunity can be based in Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington.
A day in the life of this role could look like:
- Establishing processes across both Contracts Administrators to ensure DHB accounts have a consistent approach nationwide regarding invoicing.
- Extract and analyse data, resolve invoice queries, and ensure timely and accurate information is provided for issue resolution regarding outstanding invoices and any aged debt.
- Resolve and correct processing errors to mitigate potential losses, this involves identifying errors, working with regional based teams to resolve queries in a timely manner, and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Building relationships with key regional based teams around the country.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions and processes. This includes ensuring that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible for auditing and reporting.
- Assist with other finance administrative tasks as needed.

Ideally, you’ll have a clinical background or clinical understanding as this position has a strong focus on minimising revenue leakage. As well as knowledge and skills in the Accounts Receivable space or Contracts Administration space.
