We are looking for a great team member to join us in a short-term, full-time role (Monday to Friday) as a Medical Receptionist. This position covers the balance of a parental leave, and the position runs from 5th January to 24th March 2026. We are interested in applicants who aim to contribute positively to the company’s image by effectively interacting with patients, referrers, funders and the public in a professional and empathetic manner.
Our ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a Medical Reception or Clinical Office administration and be competent in Microsoft Office. We are after someone who is the right fit for our culture and professional practice standards to work on a casual basis. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to build empathy and rapport with patients and referrers quickly.

In the role you would: - Greet and Assist Patients and Callers: Determine and fulfil their needs, arrange bookings, and provide appointment information.
- Coordinate Imaging Appointments: Manage the booking of any required imaging appointments or lists.
- Accurate Data Entry: Check patient details and input information into our systems with precision.
- Handle Payments: Ensure patients are aware of examination costs and process payments efficiently.
- Liaise with Clinical Staff: Work closely with clinical staff to keep appointments running smoothly.
- Facilitate Patient Visits: Ensure any further actions required to complete the patient’s visit are taken care of.
Skills and Experience: - Professional Experience: 2+ years in a professional medical reception and/or clinical administrator role
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new computer systems.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service with exemplary interpersonal skills.
