We are seeking applications for a Senior Sonographer in Pacific Radiology Wellington-Manawatū. In this position you will gain the opportunity to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging to patients and referrers of Pacific Radiology, while supporting the Charge Sonographer and wider ultrasound team.
This is a permanent, part-time role of 16 hours per week.
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct ultrasound examinations to a high standard, in accordance with internal policy and agreed ASUM/ASA and industry guidelines.
- Provide clear instructions and explanations to patients and caregivers before and throughout each procedure, ensuring a high level of care.
- Support the Charge Sonographer, including providing cover in their absence, and assist with training student sonographers.
Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you - A professionally recognised ultrasound qualification and a current Annual Practising Certificate (NZ – MRTB).
- Proven excellence in delivering patient care, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, and competent interpersonal skills.
- A continuous improvement focus and collaborative mindset to deliver better outcomes.
